Welcome to the official website for the City of Hopkinsville's Division of Parks and Recreation.  We hope you enjoy our new website.  The Division of Parks and Recreation offers various leagues, camps, tournaments, special events, locations for rentals, sporting venues and much more.  Please look through our website to get an overview of what we have to offer.  Please contact us with any ideas, suggestions, etc.  The Division of Parks and Recreation is the former Hopkinsville-Christian County Recreation Department, and the Recreation Center is the former Recreation Department.

The mission of the Parks and Recreation Division is to serve the recreational and leisure interests and needs of the community, through providing and managing a variety of facilities and diverse programs, which offer year-round opportunities for physical activity, outdoor experiences, personal challenge, self-expression, social interaction, and an enhanced quality of life.
